About the Sales Development Team:
Get in on the ground floor to create our first Sales Development Specialist team for our new partnerships with Salesforce and Oracle. Chatbox capabilities can now run inside these incumbent software systems so teams get a powerful new way to collect, share and collaborate with customers - without ever leaving their primary CRM. As a Sales Development Specialist, you will be responsible for introducing Chatbox to the customers of these platforms. You will qualify existing leads as well as outbound prospect, assess the needs of prospects, explain the value of Chatbox, and set the stage for follow-up. You will work with the CEO & founders of Chatbox to expand efforts around these exciting new partnerships.
About the Position:
  • Outbound prospect to users of Salesforce and Oracle to set appointments for further follow-up.
  • Coordinate personalized, smart, multi-channel outbound activity to engage prospects and create opportunities.
  • Efficiently research and navigate each prospect to identify key contacts, influencers and decision makers.
  • Develop leads into high quality prospects by understanding their challenges and effectively communicating the value of Chatbox.
  • Demonstrate Chatbox and bring in sales leadership to help close new business.
  • Understand the corporate budget, decision-making timeframe, customer goals, and key decision makers within each prospect’s organization.
  • Update prospect interactions in Salesforce.com.
  • Consistently meet weekly goals and established metrics, and earn uncapped commissions.

  • You have the following experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Background with Salesforce, Oracle or other CRM systems a plus
    • Outbound prospecting or sales experience, and a track record of achieving goals
    • Comfort with standard corporate productivity tools (email, voicemail, salesforce, etc.) and social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
